Private Hire

Tart is available for exclusive private hire 7 days per week – on Thursdays and Fridays it is available exclusively after 9.30pm. You can have the vestry area before this time.

You can hire the whole venue or just an area, including the beautiful back vestry room with its stained glass ceiling, 400 year old charity boards and luxurious leather seating.

We offer full catering services including canapés, finger buffets, 3 or 4 course meals and of course our usual daily menu &endash; all freshly cooked and prepared in our immaculate high spec kitchen. Our Chef will be happy to discuss your requirements with you.

The hire fee for the vestry Monday-Friday is £50 and £200 hire fee for the whole bar on Saturdays. In December we can offer the whole bar for hire 7 days per week. We don't hire out just the vestry on Saturdays.

For private hire of the whole venue we require a fee of £200. You can have the venue all day and all night but we have to stop the music at 3.30am. Our only stipulation is that if the staff outnumber the guests, or people have stopped purchasing drinks, we will close. This is at the Manager's discretion.

We can tailor any function to meet your requirements. From formal business meetings, birthday celebrations, hen-parties or just a reunion or leaving party, any group from 4 to 100. We have a fully professional Martin Audio sound system with the same specification as Ministry of Sound's Baby Box. You can bring your own iPod or DJ if you hire the whole venue.

The vestry will seat 23 people for a formal sit-down dinner or 30-35 people sitting and standing for informal parties. The vestry's bass bin and speakers are perfect for full volume dance music or equally so for background music. The volume is independent from the front of the bar, but the music is the same.

The snug area between the vestry and front of the bar will seat 8 for a formal meal or 10 for drinks.

The long table by the DJ box at the front of the bar will seat 12.

The whole bar will take 100 people but not all seated at the same time. We can take furniture out to suit each individual event's requirements.

There are also various tables seating 2-6 people in the front of the bar.
