Tart is not just a glamorous funky bar, we are also a free art gallery. We have some fantastic original works of art, many of which were specially commissioned for TART BAR.

SAUL ZANOLARI

This hugely talented young artist uses a mixture of freehand, photographic and digital techniques to create his fantastic unique artworks. His artworks combine his witty observations of mankind, mixed with dark humour, religion, sexuality and philosophy. Saul has recently launched a limited edition range of ceramic figurines (www.eyepillowart.com), a fabulous new book (www.f2gallery.com) and exhibitions in China, Japan and USA. Tart is very proud to display his art exclusively in London. The artwork in the lightbox in our ‘purple’ toilet was specifically commissioned for Tart.

NICK SLIM

London based Nick is a talented photographer and digital artist. He specialises in erotic artwork and has a huge collection of vintage pornography. His speciality is bespoke commissions and we are very proud of his unique artwork produced especially for Tart. His hugely popular ‘cream cake’ image is our Tart menu cover and needless to say, they have become coveted souvenirs!

SUSAN HIPPE

London based Susan studied art in France and has lived all over the world. Her art is energetic and humorous, produced using a huge range of materials, textures, glitter and paint. Tart is displaying her original ‘Sandy on the Beach’ work of art and is a big favourite with our customers.

MARIE ROBERTS
Coney Island USA
Marie’s artwork is also known as ‘banner painting’ - these are usually huge painted canvases. She grew up in Coney Island in the 1920’s. Her artwork depicts circus performers including bearded and strong ladies and we have her original ‘Electra – the electric woman’ artwork at Tart.
